Keeping your NG Extension Manager up-to-date is important for getting the newest features and fixes. Here's how to do it:
-
Go to the Releases Page:
- Visit the NG Extension Manager's Releases page on GitHub: https://github.com/Nitra-Global/NG-Extension-Manager/releases
- Look for the latest release. It will usually have the highest version number.
-
Alternative: Download the ZIP File:
- Just like when you first installed the extension, click the green "Code" button on the newest release, and then select "Download ZIP."
- Wait for the download to finish.
-
Extract the New ZIP File:
- Find the downloaded ZIP file.
- Right-click it and choose "Extract All..." (or a similar option).
- Remember the location where you extract the files!
- Important Notice: If you get two folders with the same name, move the folder inside the other one to a new location, and delete the empty folder.
-
Open Chrome Extensions:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Type
chrome://extensions
in the address bar and press Enter.
-
Enable Developer Mode (If Needed):
- Make sure "Developer mode" is turned on. It's the switch in the top right corner.
-
Remove the Old Extension:
- Find the NG Extension Manager in your list of extensions.
- Click the "Remove" button.
-
Load the New Unpacked Extension:
- Click the "Load unpacked" button.
- Find the folder where you extracted the new version of the NG Extension Manager.
- Select the folder and click "Select Folder" (or "Open").
-
