Commands
The Discord Minecraft Whitelist Bot offers the following commands to manage your Minecraft server's whitelist through Discord:
The /mc-setup command allows you to configure the bot. It opens a setup prompt where you can provide the necessary information to connect the bot with your Minecraft server. Follow the prompts and fill in the required details, such as the Minecraft server address, RCON port, RCON password, and the name of the key role used for whitelisting. Once you have completed the setup, the bot will be ready to manage the whitelist.
Usage:
/mc-setup
The /mc-help command provides information about the Discord Minecraft Whitelist Bot and offers a quick reference to its GitHub repository. It's a handy command to learn more about the bot and access additional resources.
Usage:
/mc-help
The /mc-setname command allows you to link your Discord name with your Minecraft name and add your Minecraft name to the whitelist of the Minecraft server. This command can only be executed if you have the role specified as the key role for whitelisting. When prompted, enter your Minecraft name to complete the process. This command ensures that only users with the designated role can add their Minecraft name to the whitelist. You can also use this command if you changed your Minecraft username. Just simple type it in again and enter your new username. After that the old username gets kicked and the new user is added to the whitelist.
Usage:
/mc-setname [YOURE_MINECRAFT_NAME]
Please note that the commands are specific to the Discord Minecraft Whitelist Bot and should be executed within a text channel where the bot is present.
