This demo shows how to use the Heart Rate 4 Click with the RW612-FRDM board over BLE.
The sensor data is sent to a wireless UART through the IoT Toolbox App.
- MCUXpresso IDE v11.7.1 or newer
- FRDM-RW612 SDK (SDK_2_16_0_FRDM-RW612)
- FRDM-RW612 Wireless Hear Rate Demo project
- IoT Toolbox app
No special configuration required simply connect into the FRDM-RW612 mikroBUS header, use the GND pins as reference.
The BLE Firmware is flashed together with the application since it has the monolithic configuration.
On your phone download the IoT Toolbox app
- Use MCUXpresso IDE to flash the application.
- Open the IoT Toolbox app on your phone.
- Run the demo.
- on the IoT Toolbox app select "Wireless UART"
- Connect to "WU_HeartRate_Sensor"
- Put your finger on the sensor and wait a couple seconds, data will appear periodically on the app as your heart rate changes.
Once the demo is running properly and you setup your phone with bluetooth and the IoT Toolbox app on the right Wireless UART you should see the following screen:
