I can understand that you might want to add support for Blend Mode to the canvas. I fail to understand why you wish to break the charmap stuff. The codecs are supposed to be explicit. So not raising an error and using a different encoding is probably wrong. Do you have a real world example where this makes sense? In addition this is a mirror of the real repository https://hg.reportlab.com/hg-public/reportlab which is also read only for you. The correct way to ask for features is to use the reportlab-users list https://pairlist2.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/reportlab-users |
