Any idea what changed between 1.5.7 and 1.5.8 that broke react-cosmos-plugin-rspack?

I haven't had a chance to set up a minimal reproduction in order to file a real bug, but I noticed that react-cosmos-plugin-rspack has stopped working after updating to 1.5.8.

It loads the fixtures, but when you change them it doesn't refresh them. The console shows the files rebuilding but even if you refresh the page, the old code is used.

I tried 1.6.0-beta.0 and the problem persists. It works with 1.5.7, however.

I checked the release notes for 1.5.8 but nothing immediately obvious stood out. Any suggestions of where to dig?

Sorry, we’re not very familiar with Cosmos. could you share a small reproduction repo to help us look into it?

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! Unfortunately setting up a reproduction repo is probably going to take a few hours so I'll try to get to it later this week. I was just hoping there was some obvious culprit I could dig into and save some time.

Are there any error or warning messages? A screenshot or log would be helpful.

No warnings or errors, I'm afraid. Everything appears to work as expected but old content is returned. It feels like something is getting cached that didn't used to.

I'll see if I can make up an repro tomorrow, or at least a screencast.

I made up a repro of this with a screencast and filed it as #11891

It turns out this only affects Windows.
