Scadcn next them tailwind and dark mode

Question i have schacn with themes and tailwind set up in a react SPA project everything works great as im using the CSS variables. however when i want to override something and use the dark: pseudo before the class that doesnt work. when i switch to dark mode.

The project is huge and this is one aspect. But the same thing can be reproduced on any Schadcn Website that has theme. even schadc.ui itself. when u jsut open dev tools and put dar:[something] and switch tod ark mode it doesnt work

What do you mean when tou say "switching to dark mode"? From what I can see, you have configured Tailwind dark mode to be class based, so switching dark mode in OS settings may not do anything.

Otherwise, you can create a smaller git repo that reproduces you unexpected behavior.

this is solved. for what its worth, if u want the dark pseudi to work to you have to wrap the css variables in @layer theme { ALL VARS} that way u will have the variable working and ALSO the dark:pseudo working
