Bug Description

I installed the new version of Jasp, and the program won't open anymore. The start screen pops up and closes, and I can't open the old files I created with Jasp. My computer's operating system is attached.

Expected Behaviour

I installed the new version of Jasp, and the program won't open anymore. The start screen pops up and closes, and I can't open the old files I created with Jasp. I can't open the program at all right now.

I downloaded the latest version of the program and this is how it happened

Hi @poyrazyasarbozkaya-commits How did you install the last version? With Windows store, MSI or ZIP file?

maybe that is the problem. You mixed both versions. You could try uninstalling all versions and then just install the win store version (msix)

Do you get.a crash message?
What could help us is to get some logs. One possibility is to start JASP from the command line and to pipe the output to a log file. Do you have a temporary folder somewhere, like D:\temp, or any folder where you are allowed write files ? Then you should go to the folder where JASP is installed, for example by typing cd c:\Program Files (x86)\JASP
Then from here type JASPDesktop > D:temp\log.txt (use a folder where you are allowed to write files)
Then copy the content of this log file to this issue.
