I've sponsored devs before and have never received this badge. Is there a dollar amount limit? How can you tell if the developer or organization is classified as an OSS contributor? |

From what I understand the public part might be the distinction. You have to make the contribution publicly visible and there is apparently an timeout if you stop donating and the badge may no longer be displayed. |

no there is no Doller limit make sure that your sponsorship is public and not private. private sponsors dont get the batch |
