If you edit your own user on the edit user page, the redux state is not updated, so changes are not reflected in UI.

Suggested resolutions:

1. Disable self-edit on the edit user page, current user should not be displayed

or

2. When clicking on current user on the edit user page, redirect to the account page.

Option 2 is probably the preferred option.
