No ./configure script for mod_auth_vas4?

The build/install instructions for mod_auth_vas4 say to run ./configure. I don't see that file in the 4.0.2.5 version I downloaded or in the repo on master. I see only a ./configure.ac. Surely, I misunderstand.

After more digging, it looks like I need to do something like the following before I can execute those instructions.

% aclocal
% autoconf
% automake --add-missing

If so, there's no issue here, unless the instructions should begin with these first steps.
