Disclosing security vulnerabilities

Hi, I wanted to ask if there was a way to disclose security vulnerabilities privately.

Currently, all I can find are issues and this discussions board.

However, since disclosing the vulnerability publicly can affect users, I wanted to see if there was some other communication method for disclosing this privately.
