Questions about installation and configuration

Hello! This is my first time using this project on my home server, so I have a few questions.

1. The readme mentions the possibility of changing the VPN provider, but there is no mention of how to completely remove the VPN from the build. The thing is, my router already acts as a VPN client, and I simply don't need it. Is it possible not to use the VPN client in Docker?
2. How are the Docker containers for this project updated if there is an update on GitHub? Is it started by some command?
3. How do I add/remove a service (container) after deploying containers with the “docker compose up -d” command? I just don't want to have to reinstall everything if I need to modify the services.

I apologize in advance if these questions seem silly, but I just couldn't find any text or video guides for this project.
